Jaden Chavez and Colleen Porter weave their music magic together at a park in Louisville! This edition of Music in the Moment will be part song circle, part performance, part sound healing and along with it instrumental and vocal weavings only made in the present moment through listening to the environment and each other.

Colleen @songalchemist and Jaden @the.wind.nomad will share original song and their special talents with cello, violin, voice, guitar, clarinet, Native American flute, percussion and instruments as inspired. Many songs are participatory where YOU get to become an orchestra of voices. A sound journey follows featuring Tibetan and Crystal bowls, didgeridoo and other many other high vibe instruments created to reset the nervous system. Sedona local Colleen Porter shares her one-woman musical and the journey of leaving what’s no longer aligned — from religion and relationships to environments and old paradigms.

Join her for an evening of heart expansive songs and stories as she gets ready to leave Sedona and take off on her “Unsilent Tour” featuring the musical alongside Unsilencing Workshops for women.

With songs created over her past decade of leaving the Mormon church, expect a compassion-filled evening with touching lyrics and poetry, live violin, philosophy, psychology, and moments of audience participation. Never the same twice, this musical revolutionizes the way we look at leaving — giving ourselves so much grace as our brave walks away lead us into deeper spaces of growth and alignment with ourselves. Next day on April 13th Colleen features a full day of "Unsilencing Workshops" with Voice Alchemy, empowering Song Medicine, and Vocal Reclamation for women. Exchange is $111 and includes a salad bar lunch.
